Before we get too far into January here are some things that I'd like to do in 2009...

-spend the night with some homeless people
-spend a week as a vegetarian
-find some semblance of direction for the future
-become a better photographer
-become a better cook
-learn me some guitar
-eat a lot less fast food, unhealthy snacks, and chocolate
-eat a lot more fruits and vegetables
-sleep in a tent in the yard next to my apartment
-ride bike more
-hike more
-establish consistent devotions
-read more in general
-something that matters each and every day

hopefully my legions of readers can help keep me accountable!

And so it begins.

7 January. Anno Domini 2009. The world shall never be the same. As billions of future fans world wide eat, sleep, work, and fret over who the cutest celebrity baby is (it's Knox Leon Jolie-Pitt by the way, hands down) Robert M. Shaeffer types his first words in his first blog. It is 1:47 AM Eastern Standard Time. And so it begins.
